  • Overexpression of ZmCCA1a in Arabidopsis disrupted the circadian rhythm, delayed flowering, and affected expression of endogenous AtCCA1/AtLHY and related downstream genes.
  • We speculate that ZmCCA1a acts as a core component of the circadian clock in maize.
